David Lloyd George
David Lloyd George became the British Prime Minister at the height of WWI and held that office until 1922. This online exhibition commemorates the fiftieth anniversary of his death and focuses on both public and private aspects of his life.

Eyewitness to History: World War One
Commercial site that features eyewitness accounts of a few key WWI events, such as the assassination of Francis Ferdinand and a German U-Boat attack.

Influenza 1918 (PBS)
This site focuses on the disastrous influenza outbreak in America and features an interactive map, primary documents, and more.

The influenza epidemic of 1918.  World War I claimed an estimated 16 million lives. The influenza epidemic that swept the world in 1918 killed an estimated 50 million people.

Northwestern University Library. The Government Publications Department at Northwestern University Library has a comprehensive collection of over 300 posters issued by U.S. Federal agencies from the onset of war through 1945. The visuals include Sugar ration coupons, Victory Stamps, Propaganda posters, etc.

League of Nations Home Page Contains a photographic archive of the League of Nations with photos of people, assemblies, councils, and more; also includes a brief history and timeline.

To find WW II information, go to a good search engine such as http://www.Google.com or http://www.altavista.com. Type in WWII in the search field. Type a space and then a plus sign (+) and the term you are looking for. EX.: WWII +airplanes or WWII +propaganda
